TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Aim:
To provide candidates with the skills and knowledge to train and assess Vocational Training and Education participants within their chosen industry.
Description:
The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAA40104) applies to people for whom training is a large part of their job within a structured assessment and training system.
It is designed to assist those who have responsibility for training program development; individual, group and work-based delivery as well as the assessment of training participants or employees. The Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is a generic qualification to enable you to deliver training and assessment in your areas of expertise or knowledge.

Traditional Face to face training is also provided. This training is broken in to the 4 areas; VET Basics, Deliver Training, Workplace Assessor, Develop Learning Material

On successfully completing both the training course and the on-the-job component of the program, candidates will obtain the following units of competence:

- TAAENV403A - Ensure a healthy and safe learning environment
- TAADES401A - Use training packages to meet client needs
- TAADEL401A - Plan and organise group based delivery
- TAADEL402A - Facilitate group Based Learning
- TAADEL403A - Facilitate individual Learning
- TAADEL404A - Facilitate work-based learning
- TAAASS401A - Plan and Organise Assessment
- TAAASS402A - Assess Competence
- TAAASS403A - Develop assessment tools
- TAAASS404A - Participate in assessment validation
- TAADES402A - Design and develop learning programs
- TAADES502A - Design and develop learning resources
On completion of all units of competence the candidate will receive the following AQF qualification:

Full Course Fee: $2000.00
VET Basics: $ 350.00
Deliver Training: $ 720.00
Developing Learning Materials: $350.00
On-the Job Assessment:
After attending the course, candidates are required to complete an on-the-job workbook that involves identifying learners who need training and assessment in a specific area. They will need to: identify a relevant unit of competence from a recognised Training Package; plan the training and assessment utilising competency based training principles; conduct the training and assessment; and review the training and assessment process. The workbook is then forwarded to TCA where an industry assessor will assess the documentation.
Flexible Delivery Program:
You can also complete this qualification through A Flexible Delivery Program. It requires the student to have access to a computer and the internet to be able to complete some online activities.
Recognition of Prior Learning / Recognition of Current Competency:
Recognition of Prior Learning and/or Recognition of Current Competency programs are also available.
